Creating Reports from Templates (Express VI)

As you place the express VI you can able to see the following screen

As you look into this the Report Contents needs to be configured for the report generation

As you see, the table shows the inputs required

The Value Source defines the mode of input to the report

  1. Select Input if the data provided via programmatically
    •  Select your mode of appearance depend on your need 
  2. Select Fixed Value for constant input
    • Enter the constant data in the provided field
  3. Select System Defined Value 
    • These are the readily available details from the system we are using it can be the time, date or the user name  

The method remains same for the Excel or the Word template
